About
What Do I Do?
I work on data and automation projects at Dangote Cement plc across manufacturing plants in Nigeria and Pan-Africa. Day-to-day, this involves KPI monitoring and value realisation for existing initiatives, high-level production reporting, database structure design for MIS reporting, and developing statistical and machine learning models and pipelines for failure prediction.
Quick Background: I have a Bachelor’s in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Kebbi State University of Science and Technology. Before my current role, I went through the Dangote Cement Graduate Trainee Program, where I rotated across manufacturing stages including the mines, raw mill, kiln, cement mill, and packing plant. I also worked as an instrumentation engineer during my NYSC, maintaining VFDs and soft starter drives.
Skills: Python, SQL, Power BI, Office 365 Suite.
